A 2 day Horsemanship Retreat
Join Joe Gardiner from Gardiner Equestrian on a 2 day liberty and ridden clinic.
SCHEDULE:
Friday (12pm start) – 30 minute private session (specific times to be allocated) in either ridden work or liberty with Joe. Here we will look at specific problems or goals to work on with you and your horse.
Saturday Clinic (All day) – Liberty and ridden group sessions. Saturday morning, you may choose to participate in either the morning group liberty or group ridden session. We will have an hour break for lunch, and after lunch you may choose to participate in either the afternoon group liberty or group ridden session. It is your choice whether to mix and match between ridden and liberty, or just stick to one discipline.
Sunday Morning – Again you will have the option to participate in either the morning group liberty or group ridden session.
Sunday Afternoon – For those who are able to ride, on Sunday afternoon we will all be heading out for a group trail ride on the property. If you are unable to ride, or chose not to, you are welcome to head home after lunch.
This clinic will have a strong focus on the psychology of the horse and creating a strong and meaningful relationship within the training.
This clinic is suitable for all horses and disciplines. If you choose not to ride or your horse is not yet trained under saddle, you are still welcome to participate in both days in the liberty and ground work classes! The ridden work is optional for anyone who chooses!
Paloma Equestrian Centre is a fantastic equestrian facility located just East of Caboolture.
Facilities include an indoor and outdoor arena, yards, stables, camping, basic accomodation, a camp kitchen and toilet/bathroom facilities.
This venue has been designed to maximise the beautiful landscape, as well as the functionality of being a premier location for hosting equestrian events.

This 2 day clinic will be held at a beautiful facility at Lacey’s Creek, just outside of Dayboro. Day 1 will be focused on the fundamental principles of horsemanship, ground work exercises and liberty training. Sunday’s session will focus on the ridden component of horse training and understanding the biomechanics of the horse under saddle. Teaching the horses to stretch, relax and coordinate their bodies as the work progresses. Yards and camping available. Contact us for more information.

A 2 day Liberty Masterclass. A retreat style experience with two Cavalia tenured liberty specialists each with their unique skills and talents combining forces to present the ultimate clinic in horsemanship.
Join Joe and Yoann from Gardiner Equestrian and Yoann Levesque Equestrian, as they take you through a 2 day intensive liberty clinic.
Joe and Yoann have both travelled the world with Cavalia and various other shows. Now back in Australia, they are sharing their knowledge about all things liberty and ground work. This clinic will have a strong focus on the psychology of the horse and creating a strong and meaningful relationship within the training.
Somersby Paddock offers a unique opportunity as a deluxe horse and human B&B with an array of accommodation opportunities nestled amongst the bushland of the Central Coast of NSW.
Facilities include a fully covered dressage arena, a camp kitchen with deck & toilets, and a cluster of modern cabins (4 in total) that blend perfectly with their surrounds.
Horses are safe in a selection of post and rail yards to hire and there is expansive room to settle in for a weekend of cosy camping, with horses in eye view at all times.
